Vela Africa Group did not start in a boardroom. It started in the field — with three separate companies, each spending years solving real problems for African businesses in advisory, marketing, and logistics.
By October 2025, after a decade of combined operational experience, these three firms merged to form Vela Africa Group Company Limited — a single, coordinated enterprise development group with seven specialized divisions and a shared mission.
The name Vela means sail. A sail does not fight the wind — it reads it, captures it, and converts it into forward motion. That is how we work with every client: reading your environment, building your structure, and driving you forward.
Today, Vela is more than a consultancy. It is a complete ecosystem — where strategy, data, media, systems, and logistics are connected, intelligent, and always moving.
First company launches — operational and corporate advisory. Begins serving Tanzanian businesses and public institutions with structured financial consulting.
Second company established — marketing, brand development & business development. Client base expands across private sector firms, media, and growing SMEs.
Third company enters operations — logistics and trading. Regional supply chain capabilities, procurement, and cargo operations added to the portfolio.
